On November 15, 2019, Restaurant Hospitality published an article about the difference between gratuities/tips and services charges.  The article, titled “When Is A Service Charge Considered A Gratuity?” interviewed Aaron Colby as a subject matter expert on California wage-and-hour laws on tips and services charges left for employees.
